Frequently asked questions
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade to Pro the moment you need it and downgrade back to Starter whenever you like. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.
What counts as a 'free class' on Starter?
Any class you list with a price of $0. You can run up to 2 free classes per month on Starter. Paid classes don't count against that limit — they have a 30% platform fee instead of a subscription.
How do students pay?
Students pay the listed class price at checkout. A small processing fee is added at checkout on top of the price. No subscription is required to browse, enrol, or join free classes.
When do teachers get paid?
Payouts are processed manually, monthly, while we're in early access. Automated payouts are on the roadmap.
Do I need a business license to teach?
No. Anyone can sign up and teach. You're responsible for any taxes on income you earn through basefloor.
What's included in Pro's analytics?
Per-session viewer counts, attendance duration, enrolment-to-attendance conversion, and a rolling view of your most popular classes.
